Northwestern Nebraska:
On this 1,000-acre preserve bulls that score up to 250 gross Boone and Crockett points are $1,650 and additional points are $30 each. A 300-point bull would cost $3,150, with additional points at $30 each. Bulls grossing 350 points are priced at $4,650 and additional points for bulls in the 350 to 400 class are $40 each. This ranch is in the northwestern corner of Nebraska and has rolling hills with large pines and some rough canyons. Some customers have taken several days to locate and kill a bull. The rancher has two enclosures, the largest 1,000 acres. Bowhunting is permitted with some restrictions and can be difficult. Most hunts take place from September through mid-November. Cow elk hunts are $500. The rancher offers pheasant and chukar hunting for $200 a day. Motel quarters and restaurant meals not included. Fly into Rapid City and rent a car. Ask about No. EKP327.
